2026 Hometown Expo Regional Art Competition
Award Recipients (by category)


This year, the competition showcased 379 works of art by amateur artists ages 5 through adult, from Oswego, Yorkville, Montgomery, and other surrounding towns.
Award-winning artworks will be on display at the Oswego Village Hall (100 Parkers Mill, Oswego) for the month of March. Additionally, an acknowledgement ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 16 during the Village Hall Board Meeting, where attending award-winning artists will be recognized by Village President Ryan Kaufmann.

at the Oswego High School Field House.

Each year, the exhibition showcases a variety of media in both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional forms, and is judged by area professional artists with awards given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in the following categories: Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, Grades 9-12, Amateur Adult.
