studied under professional brass teachers and performers Mark McDunn,

utilizes this immense knowledge in helping his students be the best
they can be.  Ron Lemm has been a private brass instructor for over 30
years and is currently the applied trombone teacher at the College of DuPage.  He also has previously been the band director at Westchester Public Schools and Butler Junior High School where he was responsible for directing the entire band program.  Mr. Lemm is proud to have taught many students who received college music scholarships as well as helping students with IMEA auditions.  "As a private lesson teacher I want to help my students enjoy music and help them to improve each week.  I love to hear when my students win 1st chair auditions in their school band programs and get promoted to the higher bands".

Mr. Lemm is also the brass choir director at Christ Church of Oak Brook where he conducts a 12 piece brass choir consisting of high school, college and professional musicians.  He produced and directed three professional recordings of the group and also formed and
conducted a trombone choir on numerous occasions.

A professional trombonist, Ron Lemm has performed in orchestras, jazz bands, quartets, quintets, rock groups, etc. many times with members of the Chicago Lyric and Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  He also has experience in recording for commercials, special concerts and church music.  He currently performs in various groups throughout the
Chicagoland area.

Ron has also kept busy as a solo and ensemble adjudicator for middle schools and high schools throughout the western suburbs.  He has also been a guest conductor, soloist and judge for band contests each year where he enjoys helping various band programs win top awards.  He has been a judge for the DuPage County Fair talent show for several years
as well as being an IMEA judge.

I feel blessed to be working in this wonderful world of music and hope my students receive the best instruction possible.
