The Fox River Academy is pleased to announce that we will be offering our Miniature Musicians Preschool Music Program during our
Fall Quarter. Our curriculum is highly researched and thoughtfully planned, and is taught by a music professional. Limited class times are available for Tuesday during the daytime hours.
Our preschool music program is designed to teach in a fun, engaging way the six main concepts of music. Students will learn that Music is made up of Pitch, Rhythm, Movement, Mood, and is a Language, both on a spoken and Universal level. Students exposed to these musical concepts are provided with an essential foundation for music appreciation, as well as an integral background of musical fundamentals for future private music study. The Miniature Musicians program is vocally based, making involvement accessible to all children. We keep our class size to a minimum (4-8 per group), to allow optimal attention to your child’s learning.
The Miniature Musicians Program works through a series of three sessions, with each progressive session building on the concepts learned previously. At the end of each session, students participate in a music program, presenting the work of the
session.
