KIRSTEN FYR
Voice Instructor
Kirsten has over ten years of extensive
experience teaching private voice, group voice, and preschool music
classes. She currently is a performing member of the Chicago Symphony
Chorus, and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of
Singing (NATS) and the member of American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA)
. Kirsten studied with Amy Cofield, Loretta Robinson, Robert Orth,
Theresa Brancaccio, Wishart Bell, and Lisa Nemeth. She has professional
choral experience with Chicago Symphony Chorus, Chorus Angelorum (Gary,
IN), Anshe Emet Synagogue (Chicago, IL), First Christian Church (South
Bend, IN), and Hope Presbyterian Church (Wheaton, IL).
Kirsten’s solo experience includes performances with the South
Bend Symphony Orchestra, First Christian Church, First United Methodist
Church, First, Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church, and Hope
Presbyterian Church. She has
professional choral directing experience with adult and children’s choirs
at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, and chamber music experience with South
Bend Chamber Singers, Vesper Chorale, and Schola Cantorum.
