My first goal is to help students actually “see” things as we are so accustomed to looking at things quickly and filtering out details. From there we break down the elements of form, composition and various material techniques to start building realistic and objective visual art. I draw from the teaching models found in “The Natural Way to Draw” and “Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain”.
