BEN MC MUNN
Guitar Instructor
A professional
musician in both classical and jazz guitar, Ben received his Master’s
degree in guitar studies from Northwestern University with Honors; his
undergraduate studies for classical guitar were completed through DePaul
University’s School of Music, where he currently is on faculty through
their Community Music Program. Ben has studied with distinguished
musicians such as Mark Maxwell, Anne Waller, and Bob Palmeri, and
participated in many guitar master classes including Robert Guthrie, Colin
McCalister, Hopkinson Smith, and the Brazilian Guitar Quartet. He actively
performs at various venues throughout the Chicagoland area such as the Art
Institute of Chicago, The Chicago Public Library, The Morton Arboretum,
and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
